Infinite Song : Our Creation of Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a radiant oriental floral fragrance crafted for both women and men. Launched in 2015 and composed by Francis Kurkdjian, this scent opens with a luminous blend of saffron and jasmine, setting a mysterious and sensual tone. The heart reveals the warm radiance of amberwood and the airy nuance of hedione and ambergris. Its base is a rich, resinous trail of fir balsam, cedar, sugar, and ambroxan, leaving a lasting impression of modern opulence and intrigue.
This is a truly unique and addictive scent. I often catch myself bringing my wrist to my nose just to enjoy those little “ahh” moments.I only have a sample, but it’s one I’ll savour.
I am able to pull any kind of medical, weird, plasticky smells, but couldnt manage to get along well with this one.It smells " red colour, suspended in midair".
Baccarat Rouge 540 by MFK is undeniably popular, but it just didn’t work for me. I pick up a strong synthetic note that I personally find unpleasant, and it overshadows everything else in the composition. On my skin, it comes across very sweet in a way that feels a bit generic rather than unique or special. I can see that it’s loved by many, but I honestly don’t understand the hype around it, as it doesn’t suit my taste at all.
Well, i smelled a dupe and I wasn’t in love with it, so i thought to buy a tester from the official site. The smell is really lovely and warm, makes me feel cozy when I wear it. People find the DNA overdone, which is fair. Doesn’t take away of how lovely the fragrance still is. I’ll get a bottle once the sample is done with.
Baccarat Rouge 540 is well done and easy to like, with that airy sweetness and slightly woody finish that people always talk about. That said, it feels a bit overexposed at this point.
